I think that the default text in Firefox is the simpler, faster, and clearer solution when it comes to body text. It looks like death if you're using text headers, though. I think Safari was the first to make anti-aliased text the default, and IE copied Apple with version 7. You can turn it on for Firefox, though. It’s all a matter of preference.
